As cellphone-fueled stresses build he has a brief breakdown and must face his dysfunctional parental relationships, failed marriage and other deferred issues. Amusingly chaotic, this puts a gratifyingly sentimental overlay on the storyline, seasoned with some tart and barbed dialogue.
