Aroview: Set in the arid hinterlands of Brazil, this serio-comic study of rural polyandry has Regina Case (Brazil’s Oprah Winfrey) hitch up three husbands to provide means, heart and lust respectively. Avoiding the mistake of playing the scenario for laughs - the poverty of the characters hardly allow this – the naturalistic performances ultimately charm.
