Aroview: One of the dir.’s more accessible films follows the carefree criminal adventures of Anna Karina, Claude Brasseur and Sami Frey, while still managing to pack in the references to Kafka, Rimbaud, Lewis Carroll and of course, Hollywood. Distinctly memorable, due to a ‘make-believe’ atmosphere all its own.
