Aroview: Revision of Universal's horror classic THE MUMMY as a contemporary Gothic mood-piece set in coastal Ireland, an alcoholic American couple discover their uncle (Christopher Walken) in the throes of trying to resurrect an ancient druid witch. Strange coincidences and dubious character motivations (not to mention stately pace) will estrange casual viewers but acolytes of the genre will admire the visual ingenuity and unearthly atmospheres sustained on an obviously low budget.
