Permanent Midnight

Aroview: Based on the therapeutic memoirs of television writer Jerry Stahl (namely of the hit series 'Alf'), infamous for snorting and injecting his sizeable salary (and then some) in a maelstrom of self-abuse. Ben Stiller convincingly exorcises his less-seen dark side as the essentially decent bloke on a downward spiral, though Elizabeth Hurley has a part larger than her limited talent.
