Aroview: Quirky, lowkey romance from the writer of FULL MONTY, follows the travails of a group of daredevil labourers who paint high-voltage power-pylons on the Yorkshire moors. A reserved Pete Postlethwaite is gradually brought out of his shell by Australian drifter Rachel Griffiths, among other, rather subdued proceedings. Benefits from a good touch for offhand dialogue.

3 stars (Good Enough) Atop gigantic electrical towers, in the Yorkshire countryside, romance blossoms between the crew employed to paint them. A quiet film that slowly pulls you in, and quite stunning camera work.~GenXGirl
