USA 1932, 63 minutes, B/W
Dir. Ernest B Shoedsack, Irving Pichel
Rating: [PG]
Genres: Classics, Suspense/Crime / Psycho

Aroview: This mother of all chase-movies was adapted from Richard Connell's book by the makers of KING KONG. A fresh-faced Joel McCrea is shipwrecked on a lush tropical island, residence of the charming but insane Count Zaroff who's taken to using his guests as human prey, as he's run out of hunting challenges. This original version outdoes all the subsequent remakes and ripoffs.
