Aroview: Script by the courtroom-obsessed John Grisham is here assigned to auteurist Robert Altman (THE PLAYER, SHORT CUTS), who manages to rule-out all jury summings-up and secret witnesses in a dark and spooky case of Southern-style duplicity, centring on morally-flawed lawyer Kenneth Branagh.
