Aroview: A mutant strain of humanoid bugs come back to taunt entomologist Mira Sorvino, who enters into a fierce confrontation through the dank, falteringly lit caverns of the New York subway system. Though stifled by the perimeters of genre, this popcorn monster movie is juicily atmospheric, boasts superlative transformer-like insect effects, and has a cast who manage to look scared out of their wits.
