Aroview: This original concept film marries an impressive array of big-league (art) director's; Robert Altman, Bruce Beresford, Bill Bryden, Jean Luc-Godard, Derek Jarman, Franc Roddam, Nicholas Roeg, Ken Russell, Charles Sturridge and Julien Temple with an aria of their choice to each present their own visual interpretation. The results are beautiful, absurd, incoherent, extravagent, indulgent and brilliant. But which, indeed, is which?

5 stars (Exceptional) How opera should be...shown today. Clever use of the "car theme" throughout. Best one....the kids stealing the car. ~Ingrid
