Up The Junction
Aroview: A compelling later example of the British kitchen sink drama that follows a bored rich London girl from Chelsea who decides to "slum it" in depressed Battersea, where she gets a flat and a job in a factory before confronting the propsect of an illegal abortion. Based on the book by Nell Dunn, with a soundtrack by Manfred Mann.

5 stars (Exceptional) Pacey, interesting; of past times but well done. Suzy Kendall & all actors great. London has changed, not all for the better, but much better education for both rich & poor. Funny in places, great photography & interesting, realistic working class views. ~Sandy
