In America in 1955, her courageous act of refusing to give up her seat on a racially segregated bus became a pivotal moment in the civil rights movement, defining a heroic life of political activism. Some nuance is missing in this TV biopic but there's no lack of passion, and Angela Bassett is spectacular.
