Bat Whispers, The

Aroview: An early talkie about a mysterious criminal known as "The Bat", who terrorises a group of people looking for treasure in an old country mansion.

Worth watching for its innovative camera techniques alone, with two cinematographers employed to work with two different sizes of film stock. The second of director Roland West's adaptations of the play The Bat, this was an early influence on the creation of Batman.
