Aroview: Noted as the first feature-length drama directed by a black American woman since the 1920s - a semi-autobiographical story of a cold college professor and her painter husband whose summer away from the city strains their rocky relationship.

Writer/director Kathleen Collins sadly died in 1988 at the age of 46, before the film was more widely distributed.
