Colette
“Less stuffy literary biopic than ever-relevant female-empowerment saga, Colette ranks as one of the great roles for which Keira Knightley will be remembered.”~Variety
Aroview: A playful and spirited biopic about the extraordinary, uncompromising life of French novelist Colette (Keira Knightley). Set in Paris at the end of the 19th Century, where Colette is discovering her talent as a writer, using the pseudonym Claudine to tell semi-autobiographical tales of her boundary-pushing romantic adventures.

1 star (Turkey) Extremely disappointed to find it was not in French. The film lacks much authenticity because of this. An amazing story is reduced to a period drama with Keira Knightly doing what Keira Knightly does in films! ~Anon
3 stars (Good Enough) The story is an interesting one and it deserves to be told. Although the screenplay got sidetracked at times it covered the main issue, that of her ghostwriting, okay. The production values were excellent. ~tubbs
