“A beautiful, haunting film, anchored by a startlingly accomplished lead performance.”~Michael O'Sullivan, Washington Post

Aroview: Emotionally powerful female coming-of-age movie set in 1930's Sweden, where a reindeer-herding teenager, an indigenous Sami child, is forcefully removed from her parents to attend a racist boarding school (traditional at the time), which trains children to be acceptable to white society. A unique and engrossing film about adolescent identity, and a striking debut for writer-director Amanda Kernell, who is half Sami herself.
