Aroview: A direct retread of the daring Spanish horror combines the unnerving atmosphere of real time camera work with the cliches and contrivances of the haunted house genre.

Although notable for another compelling Elizabeth Olsen performance and the tension of the film's supposed single-take shot, this remains a routinely frustrating horror movie despite its expertly crafted scares.
