Aroview: A melancholy high school 'indie' about a teenage loner who claims his father's terminal cancer as his own in order to make tracks with a pretty transfer student. Though this lacks the finesse to completely pull off the protagonist's delicate transformation, the appeal of leads Dan Byrd and Emily VanCamp keep the film bouyant and engaging.
