Based on a Pulitzer Prize winning play, this is frank stuff for its day, and as with other Hepburn-Tracy couplings, it's astute, fast paced and perfectly cast.

2 stars (Good Try) Light comedy that's well written with some aspects still relevant over 60 yrs later. A good supporting cast of character actors. The b & w photography is easy on the eye. ~Tubbs
