Aroview: A staple "bros before hoes" flick with Adam Sandler leading his chums through a wild weekend of beach house hi-jinks in honour of their high school basketballing heydays.

Sandler has certainly tested the water before with serio-comic roles, however this male-centric romp – in which the excellent female cast are wastefully sidelined – is for the most part dependably stupid fun, though the familiar horndog posse assembled for the film do get to spend some time navel gazing at the middle-aged condition and their expanding beer pot waistlines.

2 stars (Good Try) With the exception of Buscemi you wish the males would push off and give the ladies a go. Even more of a balance on screen time would have helped. ~Tubbs
