Moment of Truth, The

Aroview: Quirky thriller with a downtrodden janitor lured back to his hometown by a letter from an old flame but upon his return he soon finds things are not he remembers them.

Reminiscent of the Coen brothers early work this grimly funny neo-noir is perhaps a little too studied and oblique in its storytelling, but those who like their thrillers arty and atmospheric should find this to be an enjoyable diversion.
