Broken, The

Aroview: Spooky, artfully directed thriller, about a woman (Headey) who suspects she’s being followed around London by a murderous doppelganger.

Promising premise is matched initially by excellent tension-building and a palpable sense of unease, only to come unstuck later on with unnecessary bloodletting and a script that reveals too many loose ends. Still, a commendable chiller that, when focused on atmospherics, comes up trumps.
