Fighting

Aroview: Tough-as-nails drama sees Channing Tatum play a down-on-his-luck scam-artist who is introduced to the world of bare-knuckle street fighting, and soon becomes the star brawler of New York City.

Despite a predictable story line the emphasis on character rather than a succession of bloody fight scenes makes this one a cut above. Tatum is a credible lead and even if dir. Montiel can't resist shooting the fight scenes with the requisite shaky camera this a refreshing look at American macho men.
