Fanny Hill (TV Mini-series)

Aroview: 'Naughty' BBC period drama telling the tale of Fanny, a young Yorshire girl who moves to London only to be seduced into the word's oldest profession.

Under the accomplished hands of BBC go-to writer Andrew Davies, this is more of a thoughtful mediation on the nature of vice than a bawdy romp, despite being slightly marred by irritating direct-to-camera monologues from an 'older and wiser' Fanny.
