Aroview: Gay 'guy' movie exploring an enigmatic hustler's most intimate thoughts and desires, in strict contrast to his macho exterior.

Although the thick narration is at times over-written, there's enough sardonic wit and intellectual banter to make this a refreshing change from more sentimental, coming-of-age fare. Dir. Magyar elicits terrific performances from all involved.
