“Rock-doc heaven for fans of the genre.” ~AroVideo

Aroview: Essential, exhaustive (3hr!) exploration into German electronic music centering on the pioneers of the genre, Kraftwerk.

The first hour backgrounds the 'Krautrock' scene which included contemporaries like Tangerine Dream, Can, Popol Vuh, Cluster and Neu!, and then provides in-depth analysis of their evolution as a band and artistic concept, and legacy as a musical force. While not "authorised" by Kraftwerk per se, this is as close as one will get, as it features a rare and generous interview with ex-band member Karl Bartos, and some superb archival footage of the robot popsters in action. Rock-doc heaven for fans of the genre.
