Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads? (TV Series)

UK 1973, 374 minutes
Rating: [M]
Genres: Television, Classics, Comedy

Topics: Mid-life.

Feat. James Bolam

Aroview: Popular sequel to "The Likely Lads", a hit British sitcom from the partnership of Dick Clement and Ian La Francis of which only nine of those shows have survived.

Original star James Bolam is back after five years in the army to a culture of "topless barmaids, see-through knickers, the death of censorship and the new morality" as well as a best friend who is now domesticated and middle class. A fantastic look at jolly old England in the early 70's with as many laughs to boot.

Series one includes 13 episodes aired between January and April 1973
