Gathering, The

Aroview: Goth-lite supernatural horror stars Ricci as an American backpacker who loses her memory after a car accident in a small town in rural England, and subesequently suffers from horrific visions of the deaths of the townspeople.

Nothing is more detrimental to a horror film than mediocrity, and unfortunately this one sits firmly in-between the 'scary' and 'funny' camps, its mish-mashed narrative meandering along into a confused nothingness, although there is some reference to the spectators at the Crucifixion (!) Perhaps best left to those who liked the remake of the OMEN.
