Sally Lockhart Mysteries, The (TV Mini-series)

Aroview: Billy Piper stars as Sally Lockhart - the gutsy mystery-solving heroine of this Victorian England mystery series adapted straight from the pages of the Philip Pullman novel. Includes two stories:

- The Ruby in the Smoke: Sally is orphaned when her father suspiciously drowns in the South China Sea leaving it up to her to investigate her father's death in the dark underworld of London.

- The Shadow in the North: Sally gets herself involved in a murder mystery played out against the corrupt backdrop of Victorian high society.
