Aroview: Flimsy slasher horror in which a group of clot-headed American college kids camp out in some creepy Irish woods and experience a terrifying trip after consuming some less than friendly magic mushrooms.

Aside from a series of mildly effective hallucinatory sequences that aim for an atmosphere of ambiguous dislocation, and the stroke of genius inclusion of a talking cow, dir. Breathnach does little to differentiate this from the cut-price creepiness purveyed by other entries into the woods-trip-gone-wrong genre. Not likely to trigger off nightmarish flashbacks, but as with CABIN FEVER, you’ll probably experience pleasurable sensations as the naïve cast of nitwits fall prey to woodland wanderers and their own stupidity.
