Halfway between the grotesque end game of SAW, and the enterprising spectacles hatched on Reality TV and the world wide web (a la MY LITTLE EYE), this heats up a rather unimaginative premise (of human threshold and desperation) with brisk, stylishly direction, touches of black humour, and a series of well-thought out scenarios that build the film’s tension and squeamish factor to boiling point.
