Edge of Love, The

Aroview: Atmospheric wartime romance based on the life of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas (Rhys) and his love for two free-spirited women who become firm friends thanks to their common interest.

Despite their love-rival status, the women form a surprising friendship and the trio indulge in the glory of being young and alive during wartime London, but things complicate when one of the women invites a fourth into the fold in the form of her new husband. Knightley and Miller give strong performances and Maybury's direction is typically stylized though at the expense of a coherent narrative.
