Aroview: Off-screen couple Lopez and Anthony team up to portray salsa singer Héctor Lavoe and his wife Puchi in this musical bio-pic documenting Lavoe's career highs and personal lows through his wife's eyes.

This tragic downward spiral of a talented, but drug addicted, artist is rescued from the dregs of depression by showy musical pieces that attempt to distract from the movie's inevitable conclusion. Ultimately this is a unilateral drama jumping on the bandwagon of recent bio-pics about screwed-up musos that can't handle the fame jandal.
