Aroview: Rewarding rags-to-riches drama relates the story of an entrepreneurial young boy from a village in Gujarat who became the biggest business mogul in Indian history.

Bachchan is in tremendous form in the titular role, imbuing his character with all the requisite compromised integrity of a heart-on-his-sleeve political philosopher and corrupt businessman, while his combination with Rai achieves a vibrant chemistry. The film is rounded out by ambrosial dance sequences, sumptuous cinematography and a dynamic score from A.R. Burman.
