Aroview: Unnerving horror adapted from a Stephen King short story about a mysterious mist which rolls into a small town in Maine, scaring the heebie-jeebies out of the townsfolk.
In an eerily similar fashion to THE BLOB, this succeeds in eliciting frights chiefly through showing rather than telling – a lesson many horror directors could learn from. While the insufferably pat dialogue often grates, the unfathomable creepiness of the mist won't fade so easily from audience minds.

2 stars (Good Try) Creatures/effects are terrific but because of the film's length they lose much of their impact - too much screen time spent on the humans - they should have been eaten quicker (the kid first).Harden's character has been done before. Ending melodramatic.~tubbs
