Aroview: Nigel Hawthorne reigns supremely as the 18th Century monarch threatened to be dethroned by his own 'madness' and his flaky heir. Alan Bennett's script has a lightness of touch that paints everyone as a bit dotty, which is probably the point. A regal cast eat it up.

		- 4 stars (Very Good) King George III, 30 years into his reign, becomes increasingly irrational - babbling and spewing obscenities. The Prince of Wales sets out to have his father declared unfit, proclaiming that he should take his place. Wonderfully funny. ~GenXGirl
