Fido
Aroview: Day-glo zombie comedy takes the increasingly dog-eared genre to a new meta-level with its premise of zombies being domesticated as servants/pets with the use of a special collar.
As a skewed 50's nostalgia trip, this is clearly influenced by the 80's cult comedy PARENTS though its suburban utopia directly recalls PLEASANTVILLE. Gently amusing rather than being the gut-buster it promises to be, it also has the arguable benefit of an undead Billy Connelly having almost no dialogue in the title role.
