Aroview: Dolly Parton is the buxom madam of Texas’ famous Chicken Ranch whorehouse (portrayed less flatteringly in Nick Broomfield’s documentary) in this mildly enjoyable Broadway adaptation. Parton and her various assets fill the screen, while Burt as the nay saying town sheriff just gets in the way.
