Aroview: Dramatisation of triumphant Scottish cyclist Graeme Obree, who overcame personal demons and sports admin flak to break the world one-hour record in 1993, on a bicycle he made from old washing machine parts.

Featuring vivid race footage featuring the real Obree, it’s a powerful, if expectedly familiar against-the-odds tale, with the film’s champion turn coming from Johnny Lee Miller, who peddles through a gutsy central performance.
