Aroview: Intentionally over-the-top comedy about a motley crew of cops; based on the Comedy Central TV show this is probably best understood as an American version of New Zealand’s BACK OF THE Y and DEVIL DARED ME TO projects.

There’s a nice level of uncomfortable humour – definitely learned from the British – but it is slammed in and around POLICE ACADEMY and SUPER TROOPER-styled antics. But so long as you know to leave your brain only half-charged you are in for some laughs.
