Mr. Bean's Holiday

Aroview: Rubber-faced Rowan Atkinson returns to the big-screen with the bumbling Bean, his most accessible, successful comic hero.

This time the clown that is Mr Bean wins a trip to France (the tagline is “disaster has a passport”) and sight-gag hilarity ensues, while paying homage no doubt to the ‘silent’ master class of Jacques Tati. In that easy way Atkinson has, this is a lightweight romp; completely innocuous family fare.
