Aroview: Aussie doco maker Andrew Denton infiltrates the National Religious Broadcasters’ Convention in Texas, striking upon the hilarious, serious, sometimes disturbing big business of evangelism, the religious right, and America as a Christian fortress.

Denton gained notoriety in the past for reducing Kris Kristofferson to tears, but here he takes on an easy target and luckily refuses to indulge in cheap shots. Confronting his subjects with a restrained technique and a gentle interviewing style, he makes some cogent points comparing Christian and Islamic fundamentalism.
