Aroview: After Colin Baker's somewhat disappointing stint as 'The Doctor', Sylvester McCoy took over for three series as the seventh version of the mysterious Time Lord and brought a slippery, even ruthless edge to the character.

At the conclusion of the third series, Doctor Who's 26 year run was finally brought to a close... only to be revived again for a 1996 feature (with Paul McGann). A new series was inaugurated in 2005.

'Silver Nemesis' - The Doctor must prevent the Cybermen and an aspiring fascist from possessing a mysterious statue.

'Ghost Light' - The Doctor investigates the hauntings and nightmares of the mansion of Gabriel chase.

'Survival' - The Doctor must foil a plot to kidnap sidekick Ace's friends. The last in the original Dr. Who series before its revival in 1996.

'Battlefield' - The Doctor and Ace receive a distress signal and land in the Earth village of Carbury where a nuclear convoy has halted.
