Aroview: The latest cinematic mash-up from dir. Miike (AUDITION) is a family-orientated adventure in which a shy young boy from a broken family encounters elusive sprites of the natural world ('yokai') who recruit him into a battle against an evil sorceror and his goblin spawn.

With its inspired meshing of Japanese folklore and hi-tech monsters, this is a fantasy film that far outweirds anything in HARRY POTTER and proffers some truly wonderful creatures and (moderately) spooky moments.
