Aroview: Idiosyncratic 'slacker' feature from prolific music video dir. Hanft, observes the efforts of a deadbeat California cleaner (Hendrix) to make it as a stockcar driver. With a drained visual quality of a 70s B-grade, this summons up a certain pop-trash ennui. Note: Interestingly, the film is purported to be the inspiration behind singer Beck's 1994 hit "Loser".
