Aroview: 'Cut-and-paste' spoof of romantic comedies and "chick flicks" from BRIDGET JONES' DIARY to MY BIG FAT GREEK WEDDING that plumbs new depths in its buffoonishness, flaccid one-liners and repeating cycles of movie homages, clearly modelled on the SCARY MOVIE franchise (and proudly penned by several of that film's scriptwriters).

With a 'plot' that's hardly worth outlining, dir. Seltzer ticks off his references almost by rote and some report a certain pleasure to be had as each is rolled out on cue. Strictly a no-brainer, at most this may provide some Friday night distraction.
