Aroview: Based on a long-running Japanese newspaper serial, this stars Tatsuya Nakadai as an evil wandering samurai in feudal Japan who sees himself as fulfilling karmic destiny by ruthlessly annihilating everyone he fights.

Gathering a growing number of enemies dedicated to his destruction, he eventually faces an intense, blood-ripping showdown in a brothel. Not exactly 'deep', this remains remarkable for its visual composure, violent ferocity and Nakadai's disturbing performance.
