Valiant

Aroview: A lowly pigeon named Valiant must overcome his diminutive size in the service of Great Britain's Royal Air Force Homing Pigeon Service during WW2, in this sleek, if rather underachieving CGI animation.

After being recruited and trained, Valiant is packed off on a number of perilous missions along with a flea-bitten, crassly laddish pal, Bugsy (brilliantly voiced by Ricky Gervais). Plump with cheap bird puns and treating the horrors of war with overcautious lightness, this will mainly satisfy those not 'in the know', ie. the under 10-year olds. Voices by Ewan McGregor, Ricky Gervais, Tim Curry, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Laurie, John Cleese and John Hurt.
