Lone Gunmen, The (TV Series)

Aroview: An interesting spinoff series, this trails a trio of computer hackers who repeatedly cropped up in THE X-FILES, and were given a single season of their own adventures.

Like Mulder and Scully, they are working for their country, yet unsure of just which of many possible interest-groups they are really serving. A little inconsistent in its effect, this sometimes lurches into unwanted sentiment, though mostly captures an enjoyable light paranoia, underpinned by dread, including a prescient episode which seemingly predicted the events of 9/11. Note: the characters were first introduced in the episode "E.B.E" in X-FILES Season 1, and their fate was not decided until Season 9.
