'Allo 'Allo (TV Series)

Aroview: British farce at its best and silliest, this sitcom takeoff of every WW2 French Resistance film (and the TV Series 'Secret Army') is set around the small cafe of Rene Artois, who must juggle conjugal, national and financial loyalties while placating the locally-stationed Nazis. A strong thread of sexual innuendo keeps the constant pokes at the French, Germans and the occasional fugitive British pilot lively and varied.
